The program commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Qurán and proceeded with various Qasidas beautifully recited by both Shia and Sunni Madrassahs and Hawza students praising the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W), 4 “Barzanji” chapters which captivated the gathering. Lectures by prominent speakers between the Qasidas were impressive with emphasis on how the Muslim communities should support and promote nearness between different sects. The messages that came out was on bridging relationships and building stronger unity amongst all sects of Muslim communities irrespective of their beliefs. Sheikh Mussabah Shaiban stress on Islamic Sprits, he said Muslims must unite conscientiously and spiritually, and not only physically.
In the concluding speech, since the guest of honor Mufti of Tanzania was not well and left earlier, the Member of the Tanzania Council of Ulema Alhaj Sheikh Hamid Masoud Jongo represented him and also quoted from Sheikh Hemedi Jalala’s speech that the Muslim Ummah should consider the oneness of their believes on Qalema, 5 times Salaah, Ramadhan Saum, Hajj and all common acts that Muslims sects share which unify them and make them strong to fight against the enemies of Islam and their malice propaganda.
The Maulid congregation brought the Muslims from different sects to celebrate the auspicious birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (SAWW) with one motive, to understand the nobility and the divine mission of the Holy Prophet (SAWW) for all mankind, it was also an occasion to build unity and brotherhood and make Muslims aware of the malice propaganda by anti-Islamic factions who are bent upon to divide the Muslims and creating animosity within.
